Casa Solera is comprised of 1 bedroom with a queen bed, two night stands with multi-plugs in each, an illuminated closet with space for shoes, jewelry, bags, caps/hats, long dresses/skirts storage and drawers and shelves for any additional clothing/miscellaneous storage. The property also has 1 bathroom with state of the art multi-use shower appliances (mounted rain-shower head, single setting handheld shower head and mounted waterfall spout), glass divider, touch illuminated mirror, linen closet and a dual washing/drying machine. In the living room area, there is a sectional sofa that can be transformed into a sofa-bed within seconds, a 50-inch TV, a coffee table and a wall mounted storage system. The dining area has a rectangular table that sits 4 people very comfortably. It is located close to the windows that leads to the building's interior garden offering natural lighting in case you would like to work/study from the dining table. Last but not least, Casa Solera has a minimalist yet practical kitchen fully equipped with stainless steel GE appliances: fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electrical stove with oven and touchscreen microwave with embedded extractor. The kitchen has all the basic supplies you might need such as plates, silverware, a set of pots and pans, a spoon set, a cutting board, regular glasses, wine glasses, cups for coffee/tea, a wine opener, a can opener, scissors, an espresso coffee machine and a toaster. For drinking/cooking, you'll have available ground coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and cooking spray.

The property has 2 A/Cs (1 in the bedroom, 1 in the living/dinning room/kitchen) and 1 ceiling fan.

The property has a front door and porch camera system for safety, NO SMOKING strict policy and quiet hours compliance monitoring.

NO Parties / Gatherings / Get-togethers / Events are allowed within the property and building's common areas without any guests exception.

Like more than 98% of the buildings in Old San Juan, due to its historic location and infrastructure, the building where Casa Solera is located does not have an electric generator. This may cause interruptions to Wi-Fi and water service.

You'll have access to the main building by Calle del Sol and by Calle de la Luna. Once you're in Casa Solera, you'll have access to the whole property since it's a private listing. It is very important to state that the building's common areas are not for recreational use. Please, limit yourself to walking through the building's interior garden and/or hallways. The building's quiet hours are from 10pm-8am, please make sure to adhere to them for a peaceful and respectful Old San Juan community experience.

Colonial colorful buildings comprise the picturesque streets of Old San Juan. Most buildings are embellished with plants and flowers giving away a beautiful scene ideal for taking pictures of your memorable vacations in the old town. Along the streets, you'll be able to walk over cobblestones backdated to the 1890's. Also, there are many squares ("plazas") that you can visit and enjoy while sipping a cold drink, witnessing local live music and dancing, and even buying crafts from artisans from all over the island. You'll have plenty of restaurants options to try typical "mofongo" (mashed plaintain), "pasteles" (Puerto Rican tamales), "carne frita" (fried pork chunks), "alcapurrias" (fritter made of green bananas and taro root and stuffed with meat), among other Puerto Rican delicatessen, as well as many international cuisines.

Arrival by Ride Share or Taxi: Write down the exact address provided in the Airbnb listing and you'll be dropped off right in front of the building.

Arrival by Rental Car: Look out for streets that aren't identified with signs color white, blue and khaki saying "Parking Only for Old San Juan Residents". If you end up parking in a street identified as "Parking Only for Old San Juan Residents", there's a very high chance you'll get a $250 fine. You can always park in "Multipiso Doña Fela", "Ballaja Parking Garage", "La Puntilla Parking" ($3 per day, cash only), "Cochera Parking Garage", among others.

Once you're already in Old San Juan, everything is walking distance. In case you would like to get a lyft within Old San Juan, for example: from the parking garage to the Airbnb, you can request a "Garita Free Ride" through www. OldSanJuan .Info.

Another way to explore Old San Juan is via scooters or bicycles. There are plenty of accessible scooters around Old San Juan. Also, there are many bike rental places between Old San Juan and Condado.

As a special treat, Casa Solera has two beach chairs that can be used by its guests anytime. If when finished using the beach chairs, please make sure to clean them from salt water and sand at the building's main entrance using the faucet located in the same wall as the mailboxes (once you enter the building, the wall to the left).
